Stay Hydrated
For this project, I wanted to convey the conflicting ideas that come from the phrase “stay hydrated”. In some places, (even in America) there is little access to clean drinking water. I was inspired to do this by the 2014 Great Lakes water crisis. In places like Flint, Michigan, and my own hometown, Toledo, Ohio, water was a scarce commodity. It was completely bought out from stores for months. How can someone stay healthy and hydrated when there is no water to drink? I combined photography with my own art skills to portray this message in an emotional way.
